Let’s look at some bio on these guys taken from their site:
Striker is an Edmonton-based recording and performing heavy metal band that has grown immensely through their years in the industry. A classic mix of heavy metal, hard rock, and 80’s hair metal, their music features powerful, clean vocals, catchy choruses, vocal harmonies, and impressive guitar leads.
Audiences are often floored by the energy of their live show, and their recorded material has been met with fantastic response by both fans and industry across the world. Striker has toured across dozens of countries as headliners as well as support for major metal acts. Gearing up for the release of their latest album the sky’s the limit for these Canadians!!
Their album “Play to Win” won the Juno Award for Heavy Metal Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2020.

My HeadBangers:
Let me just say this, I absolutely love this band. From the first song to their last song, each one brought something a little different from the from the last, and each one was as if they were singing their first. By that I mean the intensity and energy they put into their music shows in each song. Dan Cleary’s delivery of their songs is so intense it just grabs you and won’t let go as you are frozen in time.
Mesmerized by that voice, and of course all the great hair in the band. Striker is a band that is here to stay and I wish them the best. I know we will hearing more on these guys. Would love to see them in person, if you have the chance do it don’t think about it.
Edmonton
Here’s an interesting little fact about their hometown.
Known for its natural beauty, culture, history and attractions, Edmonton is a city for everyone. It is home to Canada’s largest living history museum, Canada’s largest historical park and North America’s largest mall.
Well my HeadBangers, join me next week for another band and another song. In the meantime don’t stand to close to the fire if you can’t handle the burn…..
