OK my HeadBangers, this is KARMA, so I get into my friends car and hear these amazing growl vocals, “WHO THE HELL IS THAT”, response The Browning, my friend said I met them at a gig they are really cool guys.  WTF where are they from give me my phone, searching….. KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI WTH, I’m right here KCK, right in my own backyard, these guys NFW holy shit, and here we are the best growl vocals in the state as far as I’m concerned.

Home of the Superbowl champs The Kansas City Chiefs and World Series Champs a few years ago The Kansas City Royals and now for growl vocals that kill me The Browning.  Seriously what more can you ask for…

Let’s look at some bio taken from their site:

The Browning could very well be heavy music’s answer to the Terminator. Whereas everybody’s favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger cyborg hid an exoskeleton under a sheath of skin, the Kansas City quartet—Jonny [vocals, electronics], Cody [drums], Brian [guitar], and Rick [bass]—thinly veil a hard rock edge beneath a casing of skittering electronic dance music, hip-hop grime, metallic brutality, and industrial expanse. That signature style is “back” in a big way on their third full-length album and first for Spinefarm Records, Isolation.

Since emerging with a bang on 2011’s Burn This World and refining their attack on Hypernova in 2013, the group has destroyed stages alongside everybody from Fear Factory to Static-X to We Came As Romans to Alesana to Chelsea Grin to Shadows Fall on national tours. Hypernova would clinch “Album of the Week” honors from Revolver, while their fan favorite video for “Bloodlust” would rack up over 1.8 million views by 2016 as they built an impressive social media audience exceeding 212K Facebook fans.

My HeadBangers you all know how I am and how I feel about my growl vocals, just listen to that voice, strong, raw OMFG, and that little bit of Techno, these guys are the shit.  They are pure fire and as home boys they have my total support and I hope I can actually meet them someday.  Life never ceases to amaze me.  I’ve been back in the states for a month now after listening to some of the best bands Finland, Sweden and all the nordic countries have to offer, always searching for those perfect growl vocals.  I get here and look what I find.  Seriously I have goosebumps listening to these guys.  I was so fired up to get them here on the blog for all my European HeadBangers to hear.  The Browning is high on the list for all the bands I’ve heard, here and over seas.  Check them out you will not be disappointed at all.
